French Camp Academy

Rising Son Retreat Center is nestled on 300 wooded acres beside peaceful Lake Anne, it provides a high-quality retreat experience including meeting space, lodging and catering and recreation for churches, civic organizations, youth groups, schools, and businesses. Click here for more information.
Located in the Natchez Trace Historic District:
French Camp Academy’s Bed and Breakfast is one of the few B & Bs located adjacent to the Natchez Trace Parkway. Consisting of 4 rooms in the main house and 3 log cabins, the B&B can house families and groups as well as individuals. A country style breakfast in included with all stays. The Council House Café, owned and operated by French Camp Academy, offers guests generous-size sandwiches, homemade soups and crisp salads, followed by featured desserts: Mississippi Mud Cake and bread pudding. Open Monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m.–7 p.m. Click here for more information.
The Log Cabin Gift Shop offers handmade arts and crafts, quilts and other unique items, as well as craft demonstrations. Open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday—Saturday, the gift shop is an outreach ministry of FCA, and profits support the students of French Camp Academy. Click here for more information.
Children of God Pottery Studio is a working studio. Students and staff design and create unique pieces for sale in the Log Cabin Gift Shop. More information coming soon.
Margaret Kimble Alumni Museum contains a unique collection of primitive antiques, farm tools, charming ladies’ dresses, old photographs and memorabilia gathered during the 125-year history of French Camp Academy. Click here for more information.

Double Blessings Thrift Shop serves the FCA staff, students and community by providing a wide variety of gently used items for sale at incredibly low prices. Click here for more information.
Sorgham Saturdays: Visit French Camp, Mississippi on any Saturday in October for a first-hand look at making sorghum syrup. You’ll see the grinding of sorghum on a horse drawn mill, cooking the syrup over an open fire pit and you may even be offered fresh homemade biscuits with hot molasses poured into the center. By the way, it’s okay to lick your fingers. Syrup is available for purchase in the Log Cabin Gift Shop. Click here for more information.
