Run for the Son 5k

Camp of the Rising Son is excited to host the first annual

Run for the Son 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run! 

Come join the race, eat lunch, and take part of our Open House!  Open House will include: camp tours, climbing our ropes course tower, horse rides, canoeing...and so much more!

Camp of the Rising Son provides a Christ-centered summer camp to reach out to youth ages 7-17 through intentional focus on building relationships, experiencing creation, encouraging creativity, learning new skills, and fun. We operate to the glory of God as a self-sustaining department of French Camp Academy.

All proceeds from the race will go to benefit our CRS camper scholarship fund.  This fund helps provide children with the opportunity to attend a week of camp at CRS.  Without financial assistance, these children would be unable to have a fun, quality camp experience.

Event Time: 5k Run/Walk 9:30 AM       

1 Mile Fun run to follow completion of 5k

Race Day Registration/Packet Pick Up: Starting at 7:30 AM Hall Lodge, French Camp

Entry Fee: 5K Run/Walk - $20 (add $5.00 on race day - non-refundable)

                           Must be registered by April 1st to be guaranteed a T-Shirt

                   Kids 1 Mile Fun Run- FREE

           Awards ceremony at CRS Open House Lunch. 

Age Divisions: 5K Run/Walk-  12-18, 19-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66+

                       1 Mile Fun Run- 11 and below
