Sonny Gunn, Scout Unit Director

Sonny grew up coming to CRS, attending a total of eight summers as a camper and is working for his 5th summer at CRS. We are excited to have Sonny serving as our Scout UD this summer. He is a Senior at Belhaven University. His future plans are to work for Reformed University Fellowship and continue his education at Seminary for a Masters in marriage and family counseling.  Sonny enjoys reading, climbing, writing, and caving.

Lauren Hester, Maiden Unit Director

We are glad to have Lauren back for her fifth year on staff. She is serving her second summer as maiden unit director. She was a camper here for six years. She attends Mississippi College with a major in international studies/French. This year she spent interning with Tupelo Community Theater and traveled to France for a study abroad. She loves to dance, is a movie fanatic, and loves to read almost any book.

Susanna Davenport, Program Director

We are glad to have Susannah back for her eighth year on staff. She is serving her second summer as program director. When Susannah is not at CRS, she also serves as the Assistant Manager of Double Blessings Thrift store at French Camp.  She enjoys photography, running, and thrifing.  Her favorite Bible verse is 2 Chronicles 15:15.

Marie Dendy (Nurse Marie), Camp Nurse

We welcome back Nurse Marie for her seventh summer here at CRS.  We are truely blessed to have such a talented, caring, and energetic camp nurse.  When Nurse Marie is not bandaging up campers, she enjoys walking, cooking, sewing, scrapbooking and reading.  Her favorite Bible verse is Phillipians 3:14. 

Anne Clair Serio, Food Service Manager

We are excited to have Anne Clair back on the CRS team! Anne Clair has been a part of CRS for many summers.  She has a bachelor of science degree in education from Delta State University and a master’s in curriculum and instruction from Ole Miss. Anne Clair spent two years serving the Lord abroad in Africa and Honduras. She currently is a second grade teacher in Hinds County, MS. When she is not at camp or teaching, Anne Clair enjoys painting, playing paintball, and music.

Ruddie Meaders, Assistant Food Service Manager

We are excited to have Ms. Ruddie back serving her second summer as Assistant Food Service Manager.  During the year, she works at the French Camp Academy dining hall.  We love having her smiling face and delicious food here at camp!

Kayton Hosket, Maiden Teen Program Manager

CRS welcomes back Kayton for her fourth summer here on staff. This will be her first summer serving as the Maiden Teen Program Manager.  Kayton currently attends Mississippi College and plans to one day be a math and/or Spanish teacher.  Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 62:8

Hannah McKnight, Waterfront Manager

We are excited to have Hannah returning for her 6th summer on staff here at CRS.  She is currently attending Mississippi State University.  Hannah plans to teach High School English some day.  Her favorite Bible verse is Galations 2:20.

Mollee McKnight, Counselor

Mollee will be joining the CRS team for her second year serving as a counselor. She was a long term camper, attending for five summers.  Mollee attends Ole Miss and is majoring in Elementary Education.  She enjoys playing softball and painting.  Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 5:16. 

Sarah Harper, Counselor

This will be Sarah's fourth summer to be on the CRS team.  She currently attends Hinds Community College with plans to attend Mississippi State University in the future.  Sarah's favorite candy is Life Saver gummies and her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Daniel Sluis, Counselor

We welcome back Daniel for his third summer working on the CRS team!  He is currently a senior at Vicksburg High School with plans to attend Covenant College and become a veterinarian.  When Daniel is not at camp he enjoys soccer, ping pong, and ultimate Frisbee.  His favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Daniel Lawson (D-Law), Counselor

We welcome back Daniel for his fifth summer working on the CRS team!  He attends Northwest Mississippi Community College and has future plans of becoming a Christian Marriage and Family Counselor.  Daniel is active in choirs at NMCC and his favorite candy is gummy bears.  His favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:13 because it reminds him of how important forgiveness is. 

Johnny Barnes, Counselor

This will be Johnny's second summer working at CRS.  He attends Hinds Community College.  When Johnny is not at camp, he stays busy with the Hinds Connection and Phi Theta Kappa.  His favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:21. 

Hunter Hambrick, Assistant Counselor

This will be Hunter's second summer to serve on the CRS team.  In 2011 he served as our program technician and we are so excited to have him return to be on our cabin staff.  Hunter's future plans include graduating and then attending either Wheaton College or Samford University.  He strives to someday be an inner-city reformer.  Hunter enjoys performing magic tricks, playing the guitar, and acting.  His favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39. 

Andrew Stevens, Assistant Counselor

We welcome back Andrew for his second summer at CRS.  He currently attends French Camp Academy.  Andrew enjoys playing football and baseball.  His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13. 

Danny Ruth, Assistant Counselor

Ryan Shrum, Ropes Specialist

This will be Ryan's third summer to serve on the CRS team.  He is currently the activities coordinator for French Camp Academy.  Ryan enjoys all sports and riding horses.  His favorite Bible verse is Lamentations 3:23-28.

Rachel Huber, Crafts Specialist/Editor

We are excited to welcome Rachel back for her second summer on the CRS team.  Rachel attends Delta State University and plans to be an audiologist or researcher for deafness. She loves making crafts, music, and sign language.  Rachel is a very talented baton twirler and loves eating chocolate.  Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 31:30.

Holly Potter, Wrangler/Vaulting Instructor

This will be Holly's second summer to serve on the CRS team.  She currently attends Delta State University  with a major in HPER-Recreation Leadership.  When Holly is not at camp she enjoys soccer, movies, friends, random exploring, horses, and music.  Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Timothy 4:12.

Anne Claire McKnight, Wrangler

We welcome back Anne Claire for her second summer here at CRS.  She currently attends French Camp Academy and is active in both basketball and softball.  Anne Claire loves chocolate and her favorite Bible verse is  John 3:16.

Ben Hosket, Maintenance/Ground Tech.

Ben is joining us for his second summer on the CRS Team.  He attends French Camp Academy.  When Ben is not fixing things around camp, he enjoys playing football.  We are excited to have Ben back with us this year.

Anna Cates, Food Service Assistant

We welcome Anna back for her second summer with us at CRS.  She currently attends Mississippi State Universty. Her future plans are to acquire a master's degree in accounting.  Anna enjoys riding horses, reading, and training animals.  Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:34.
